Hong Kong Academy

Accreditation and Affiliations

Hong Kong is an active member of the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools since 2004. The Association coordinates student activities programs and professional development programs for staff of member schools.

Hong Kong Academy is a member of Council of International Schools and may in the future seek dual accreditation with WASC.

Hong Kong Academy has been a member of East Asia Regional Conference of Overseas Schools since 2004. EARCOS provides professional Development opportunities for Teacher and Administrator across the East Asia region.

Hong Kong Academy is a provisional member of the European Council of Internationals Schools and expects to be granted full membership status in 2008.

Hong Kong Academy has benn authorized by the International Baccalaureate to offer the Primary Years Progrramme (PYP) since 2004, and is currently a Middle Years Programme (MYP) 'candidate' school. The school has been authorized to offer the IB Diploma program in grades 11 (2010/11) and 12 (2011/12).

Hong Kong Academy has entered into a partnership agreement with Lehigh University of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA to offer onsite Graduate courses in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Academy is accredited by The Western Association of Schools and College.
